New Year's Nails Still Going Strong

It's the 4th day of the New Year and I'm pleased (and quite astonished) to report that my New Year's manicure is still in near perfect condition after 6 days despite hand, hair, and dish washing...not to mention packing and cleaning! There are no chips or cracks and minimal fading on the tip of my right middle finger. The best part about it is the polish I used, Wet Wild's Wild Shine in Champagne, only cost about a buck! See my nails now after the jump!

Anyone who knows me knows there are precious few things that I love more than a manicure. It doesn't matter if I go to a salon and have it done by a professional or if it's DIY while I'm sitting on the couch watching TV! I have a ton of nail polish and quite a bit of my collection is made up of Wet n Wild because they have fun colors and a very good formula given the super affordable price. IMHO Wet n Wild goes on better and lasts longer than nail polishes that cost over 10 times as much! I bought Champagne a few weeks ago during one of those good CVS sales and as soon as I saw the shade I knew it would be the perfect thing to wear to ring in the new year. It is absolutely beautiful in the bottle. Undeniably gold, but not in an over-the-top, costume-y kind of way. The shade is part of Wet n Wild's 2010 holiday collection and has all the glam of gold only in a subtle antique hue. And I'm not the only one singing the praises of this pretty polish.
